Last updated: 19 August 2026
This Cookie Policy explains which cookies StoresWiki LLC ("66Audit", "we", "us") sets on 66audit.pro, what each one is for and how long it lasts. It complements our Privacy Policy.
The short version
Every cookie we set is a first-party cookie that the platform needs in order to work or to remember a choice you made. We do not set advertising cookies, we do not build advertising profiles, and we do not use cross-site tracking cookies. Because we set no non-essential tracking cookies, you will not see a consent banner asking you to opt in to them.
Strictly necessary
These cannot be switched off, because signing in and protecting accounts is not possible without them.
- PHPSESSID — identifies your browsing session so you stay signed in and forms submit safely. Session cookie: it is deleted when you close your browser. Sent with the Secure and SameSite=Lax flags.
- login_lockout, register_lockout, lost_password_lockout, resend_activation_lockout — count repeated attempts so we can slow down brute-force and abuse of the sign-in, registration, password-reset and activation forms.
- password_… — remembers that you entered the correct password for a password-protected audit report, so you are not asked again on every page.
Preferences and functionality
- set_language — remembers the interface language you chose. Lasts 90 days.
- set_currency — remembers the currency you chose for plan prices. Lasts 90 days.
- spotlight_has_results — remembers the state of the in-app quick search so it reopens as you left it.
- page_view_<id> — set when you read one of our content pages so a single visitor is counted once per page rather than on every refresh. Lasts 24 hours and contains no identifier, only the number 1.
- referred_by — if you arrived through an affiliate link, records which affiliate referred you so any commission is credited correctly.
Administration
If you are the owner of this installation, dismissing a notice in the admin dashboard sets a dismiss_… cookie (for example dismiss_smtp_setup or dismiss_version_updates) so the same notice is not shown again. These are never set for ordinary visitors.
Third parties
Our pages load no third-party analytics, advertising or social scripts, so no third party sets a cookie through them. The site is served through Cloudflare, which acts as our CDN and security layer and may process technical request data on our behalf; payment pages are handled by Stripe and PayPal on their own domains, under their own cookie policies, and only when you choose to pay.
Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings, and most browsers let you do this per site. Blocking the strictly necessary cookies above will prevent you signing in and using your dashboard. Clearing the preference cookies simply returns the site to its defaults.
